Local Ride: The Keith Hill Forest Trail
Crossing Miscoe Brook behind the barn, the horses climb the eastern slope of Keith Hill and duck into the forest for a ride through what seems like a green tunnel in spring and summer, and a riot of color in autumn. Emerging at the town water line's crossing, the guide heads through an area of blueberries, then continues west on the power line, and finally loops through a forest glade that fills with ferns each spring.
